HGB Open Day 2014

Sunday the 8th June 2014 started with some of the Members of the EN-A Chapter and Friends meeting at the Ace Cafe London for a 9.00 am Breakfast, nearly everyone went for the British Breakfast.

As an extra it turned out to be the Triumph Day at the Ace, so we all had a look around the machines and the stalls that were setup outside. Believe it or not but we were asked to put our wings outside as they were taking up room for the Triumphs to park, we did of course as asked.

Eventually we got together and we set off to H.G.B. (Honda) Ruislip, a nice easy ride and we kept together apart from the circumnavigation of Hangar Lane Gyratory, that was fun.

Arriving at H.G.B. we were put in a car park beside the shop which was car free.

Then it was time for a look at the bargains on offer, spending some money on new helments and clothes, and some time to tuck into the refreshments and snacks laid on by the H.G.B. owner and staff.

We all had a good day and it gave us all a chance to catch up on the various happennings of the past few months, and to talk about our future events.

I took the opportunity to take a few photos of the members and wings in attendance.

Eventually the walletts and pockets were empty. A few went off for a carvery lunch others headed home.
A good turn out maybe we can do it again soon.
